Transparency & KiteTrek's Role
KiteTrek acts as a community, on-site facilitator and communication partner within the framework of the Brazil Kite & Wing Trip 2026 organised together with High Tech Travel and local partners.
How it works
The trip is offered and administratively managed by High Tech Travel in collaboration with local partners in Brazil.
The travel contract is concluded directly with the travel agency and/or the relevant service providers.
Bookings, payments, contractual conditions, insurance policies and travel documents are handled by High Tech Travel.
KiteTrek’s Role
KiteTrek is mainly involved in:
- Promoting the trip
- Managing and animating the community
- Supporting the group on site
- Sharing experience and helping riders progress together
KiteTrek does not act as a travel agency or tour operator within the meaning of the applicable regulations.
Liability
Services related to the trip (transport, accommodation, catering, transfers, activities and local organisation) remain under the responsibility of the relevant partners and providers.
KiteTrek cannot be held liable in the event of:
- Programme changes
- Cancellation
- Flight delays
- Weather conditions
- Injuries, incidents or accidents
- Disputes with service providers
- Loss or damage to equipment
Watersports Activities
Kitesurfing, wingfoiling and other watersports involve inherent risks.
Apart from any lessons booked with local schools, each participant practises entirely at their own risk.
Each participant acknowledges that they:
- Have a level suited to the prevailing conditions
- Are responsible for their own decisions on the water
- Respect local safety regulations
Insurance
Each participant is responsible for ensuring they have suitable insurance covering, among others:
- Travel insurance
- Cancellation insurance
- Third-party liability
- Watersports activities
- Medical assistance
- Repatriation
KiteTrek does not provide individual insurance cover.
Reservations & Payments
Bookings and payments are processed through High Tech Travel in accordance with their terms and conditions and booking procedures.
Cancellation, modification and refund policies depend on the relevant partners and providers.
